Wingspoint is an approximately 111-acre mixed-use project, located in front of the new $45 million William M. Thomas Air Terminal, at the Bakersfield International Airport. At full buildout, the project will include several high-end office buildings along with hospitality, retail, and flex industrial components. The project’s location at the entrance to the new airport terminal building makes it an ideal site for new hotel development, as well as any office or industrial users looking to take advantage of the logistical advantages inherent in locating near a growing airport.
A 46,000 square foot, Class A office building is scheduled to begin construction at The Allen Group’s Wingspoint development in June of 2008. The office building will be a multi-tenant spec facility, and will be the first building to begin construction in the new Wingspoint development.
